Jewelry

Chainmail is very meditative. I don't have any particular use for armor, so in jewelry I can transform it from its historic association with armor into something delicate and evocative, and from the stiffness and rigidity of metal into something fluid and fabric like.

This set also features earrings, bracelets, and necklaces crafted from aluminum pieces that serendipitously fell to the floor while I was working at an aluminum foundry. Inspired by their organic shapes, I saw the potential to create jewelry that feels raw and untouched, as though these pieces were pulled straight from the earth. Each item carries a story of transformation, turning industrial remnants into something natural and refined.
